COURT TIMES
Season court times may be arranged through the Platform Tennis Committee.  Members can reserve permanent weekly court time for Paddle Tennis. Sign-up is in early October prior to the start of the paddle season. Note: certain timeslots are permanently reserved for various leagues and special events. Members with a permanent time are given priority the next year for that same slot. Non-league related reservations are limited to 1 ½ hours.

One-time reservations can be made online using the court booking system on the GGC website.

The courts are designed for platform tennis play only. Any other use including rollerblading, hockey, baseball, Frisbee, or the like is strictly forbidden.  Members are required to fill out chits when bringing guests.  Chits are located in the deckhouse.

EQUIPMENT
Paddles and used paddle balls are available for member use in the deck house.  New paddle balls are also available in the deckhouse for purchase.  Chits are available to fill out in the paddle house for the purchase of new balls on the member honor system.   Soft-soled tennis shoes must be worn on the paddle courts. No shoes with heels will be allowed. Paddle dress is informal, layered clothing is recommended during play.

HEATERS/LIGHTS
The heaters located under the court are meant to be used to keep the courts dry.  The heaters will not produce enough heat to warm the players so do not activate them for that purpose.  The heaters are natural gas fed and are expensive to run. Timers were added recently to prevent unintentional run-on operation, so your cooperation is requested.  Night play is common and encouraged.  Please shut off the lights when you have concluded play.
